Hi Bill,
    We believe that William P Brown,as listed under private/Reed's Co. is our 
William P Brown although we have no documented proof.
    Our William P Brown b: ca 1805; SC and his wife Elizabeth b: ca 1804; SC 
lived near Lawrence, Gwinnett Co., GA when their son, James Allen, was born 
ca 17 Oct 1830. The other children all born in GA were: Gilford Huchins(on) 
"Hutch", John Henry M "Henry", Michael C. "Mike", Sarah, Samantha, and 
Margrette.
    In 1850, we find them in the district of Trion, Chattooga Co., GA and by 
the 1860 census we find Elizabeth (without William) and the whole family 
living in the Guntersville, Marshall Co., Alabama area.
    I hope this help in I.D. ing Reed's Company members.
